Join me in continuing the journey

I am excited to announce my campaign for re-election to the Anchorage School Board. As I embark on my third and final run for Seat A, I am more determined than ever to continue the progress we’ve made together.

I am the mother of two adult children who graduated from the Anchorage School District and the proud grandmother of two grandchildren, with one currently attending an ASD school. My extensive background and experience in education, ranging from classroom support and teaching to administrative roles, has equipped me to continue serving you effectively on the school board. As a lifelong learner, public servant, and advocate for youth and families, my commitment to our community and public education remains as strong as ever.

One of our proudest achievements is the launch of the Academies of Anchorage, a transformative initiative designed to provide our high school students with career-focused pathways. These academies offer dual credit opportunities, apprenticeships, and job training to ensure our students are college, career, and life ready—equipped with the skills they need to thrive after graduation.

Although the election is not until next April, I am anticipating a hard-fought campaign, which is why I’m reaching out now for your early support. Together, we can build the momentum needed to continue our work and ensure a strong future for all of our students.
